2018 Milan Coffee Off

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at the 2018 Milan Coffee Off this past Saturday.  It was great to see such an outpouring of coffee enthusiasts and coffee vendors. This was my first year and while it was a bit of a learning experience I enjoyed meeting the attendees and sharing my passion for craft coffee! I had the pleasure of serving our Acoustic Set Ethiopian Light Roast using a Chemex pourover and our Sound Check Rwandan Medium / Dark Roast using a Kalita Wave pourover.

While it was difficult to keep up with the volume of people (attendance was estimated between 600 to 800 people) it was a super fun event and I’ve taken note of ways to make improvements for next year’s event.  Thanks to Dave Baldwin for a well-run event and all of the volunteers who helped to make the event happen.  Proceeds from the event go to Milan Parks and Rec for their ongoing access to the Saline River in Milan with upcoming development of a boardwalk and kayak launch.

Live music was performed by Unkle Lay-Lee's Allstar Moonshiners. Highly recommend (especially their Lynyrd Skynyrd cover)
